Something About Me
Angie is an emerging architecture professional from a small town in Connecticut. She has always been in love with architecture ever since she was little which is credited mainly by her father, who also practices architecture. She decided to pursue her first master’s degree in Architecture at Hampton University. Her thesis at Hampton addressed the impact of spatial design in childcare spaces for children who may have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect. She continued this exploratory research in architecture and pursued her second master’s degree at a unique fellowship program at the University of Minnesota.
Angie currently resides in Pittsburgh, PA, where she works for the architectural firm, AE Works as a graduate architect. In her free time, she is most likely eating, spending time with family, or catching the latest movie in theatres.
My Goal
Is to become licensed to be more of an asset to future employers and to show aspiring young minority architects this profession can be an option for them.
